The SSI Secretariat is led by Rachel Owens, who reports to the SSI Board and is in charge of the day-to-day management of the SSI.

A dedicated team supports Rachel Owens, and together they focus on implementing the SSI Standards and overseeing the certification system, communications and engagement with stakeholders.
