We are looking for an independent Scope 3 emissions expert to support a targeted review of the SSI ESG Standard. This short-term consultancy (approximately 2–3 months, Q1–Q2 2026) will contribute to strengthening the robustness, credibility and practical implementation of the Standard’s value chain emissions requirements. The expert will work closely with the SSI Secretariat to benchmark the current provisions against leading international frameworks (such as the GHG Protocol, SBTi and evolving EU regulatory requirements), identify gaps or inconsistencies, and propose clear, risk-based and proportionate improvements applicable across global solar supply chains.

This is a fully remote consultancy engagement, with flexible working arrangements and periodic virtual coordination meetings with the Secretariat.

We are looking for an Asia Lead to drive the SSI’s expansion and impact across Asia and especially India, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam by embedding credible ESG and traceability standards into solar supply chains in emerging solar markets. This role will develop partnerships with civil society organisations, industry associations, labour unions, and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) —to embed SSI standards into solar deployment, financing, and manufacturing frameworks and promote just and sustainable solar growth in the region 

We are looking for an independent cybersecurity expert to support a targeted review of the SSI ESG Standard. This short-term consultancy (approximately 2–3 months, Q1–Q2 2026) will contribute to strengthening the robustness, clarity and practical implementation of the Standard’s cybersecurity and data governance requirements across global solar supply chains. The expert will work closely with the SSI Secretariat to benchmark existing provisions against leading international frameworks (such as ISO standards, NIST and relevant EU regulatory developments), identify gaps or areas requiring clarification, and propose proportionate, risk-based improvements suitable for manufacturers operating in diverse jurisdictions.
