In October 2022, the Solar Stewardship Initiative was created with a clear conviction: that the rapid growth of solar power to deliver the clean transition must go hand-in-hand with responsibility, transparency, and trust across the entire value chain.

Amid a backdrop of geopolitical uncertainty, heightened supply chain scrutiny and shifting policy signals, the SSI has built a credible, independent, multi-stakeholder initiative that brings industry, civil society, finance and other stakeholders together to raise standards, mitigate risks, support responsible practices, and strengthen resilience across the solar supply chain.

Now, at the end of its first full year of implementation, the SSI is proud to have published its first Annual Report.
